  King Gyanendra calls for national unity King Gyanendra has once again shown his concern about the nation losing its glorious past in the international arena and hardships of the common people by days and exodus of young generation seeking better opportunity abroad leaving behind their dear and near ones. His Majesty’s message to the nation on the occasion of 2081 Rastriya Prajatantra Diwas, calls all the people to join with him to save the nation from further degrading its national identity, maintain national unity, and ensure the country’s prosperity and development. He has stated that the time has come to save the nation, uphold national unity, and work for the country’s prosperity and development. Celebrated annually on the 7th of Falgun (late February), this day marks a pivotal moment in our national history, offering a deep dive into the nation's journey towards democratic governance, cultural significance, and public participation .

The rap song sung by Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah, “Ma Nepal Haseko Herna Chahanchhu”, has been officially released as a promotional track for the upcoming film Laaj Sharanam. The lyrics, composition and rap by himself a decade ago has made his playback singing debut in the upcoming Nepali movie ‘Laaj Sharanam’. For Laaj Sharanam, Balen granted permission to use the rap, which has now been re-recorded and incorporated into the movie. The video features key characters from the film, aligning with its story-line.

  Which one is the taller? I saw this satirical picture in a social media, whoever designed it, must have creative mind. Is not it interesting to see the right side tower higher than the left side real tower? Can we imagine such level and volume of corruption scams in the Federal Republic Nepal where senior leaders of big political parties never get tired of talking about good governance, “Samridh Nepal and Sukhi Nepali”? It remains to be seen whether corrupts involved in these scams will be brought into justice and lawfully punished in the existing federal structure. Can we expect such miracle from the existing political structure and leaders?
