The people are beginning to get nervous as the major political parties’ continue to play games even as deadline for the CA is fast approaching (“Great expectations” August 11, Page 6). It is clear now that all the parties have broken their promises to break away from the kind of politics that plagued us in the 1990s. They have completely engrossed themselves in power politics while pushing the nation towards uncertainty. As mentioned in the Editorial, there is no other alternative than to form a unity government through consensus among the Big Three. This is seemingly the only way to emancipate the nation from a looming political, social and economic crisis.
