HIGH HOPES
Soon after Dr. Baburam Bhattarai (BRB) assumed his office as the new Prime Minister, the people of all walks of lives have kept their eyes and ears opened to see and hear both peace and new statute processes completed within the dead line. There seem both challenges and opportunities for him in the days ahead. If he failed in his mission, as promised to the people before and after becoming PM, there could be a huge political setback for him in the days ahead.
Both NC and UML, who have promised to play constructive opposition roles, should cooperate with him and support his positive moves in resolving the outstanding political issues. Otherwise, both the processes will remain incomplete pushing the nation further into deep political crisis out of which nobody would escape unaffected,
