IT is a disgraceful to see the only women secretary Brinda Hada being verbally humiliated by Minister of irrigation Mahendra Yadav and his aids over the mass transfer of civil servants (“Minister’s wrath falls on senior secy” March 15, Page 1). The representatives of the agitating employees met with Prime Minister to discuss the incident, but we are yet see what action Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai will take in response to this episode.

In addition, both the political actors and the civil servants are equally responsible for inviting the current situation. Such highly politicized bureaucratic systems are not found elsewhere around the world. This unhealthy situation hurts not only the civil servants and political actors but also the ordinary people.

Hami Nepal is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting communities and individuals in need, guided by its motto ‘For the People, By the People’. Undermining Gen-Z's demands

  The nation witnessed Kathmandu’s skies glowing red, smoke and fire filled the night, burning down carefully selected homes of political leaders and reducing decades of failed politics to ashes   on September 8–9, 2025 (2082 Bhadra 23–24),.   Angry Gen-Z protesters directly targeted the private residences of nation’s top leaders.
