JOURNALIST MURDERED

It was shocking to read the news report on the brutal killing of 38 year old Yadav Prasad Poudel in Jhapa (“Jhapa-based journalist slain in cold blood: killing causes furore” April 5, Page 1). This indicates the failure of the Dr. Baburam led government to maintain law and order in the country. In fact, the government should take full responsibility for its failure to stop such heinous crimes.  

Time has come for the public to show their solidarity against such dreadful acts and forcefully ask the government to bring the culprit to book.
