I came across with a health tips while going through today's The Kathmandu Post and thought that it would be wise to share with you. This was about the prostrate health which bothers every five men in every 10 men after attending plus 65 or even earlier age, The prostrate health is treatable if timely treatment is done in consultation with an experienced Urologist. Some of you must have been suffering from frequent urination due to enlarged prostate . The normal size of prostrate is considered to be around 24 mg.

The prostate is a walnut-sized gland located between the bladder and the penis. The prostate is just in front of the rectum. The urethra runs through the center of the prostate, from the bladder to the penis, letting urine flow out of the body. The prostate secretes fluid that nourishes and protects sperm.

Its not only the prostrate that bothers you. It is sometimes the outlet at the bladder also bother you while urinating. This contraction of the outlet also hinders smooth flow of urine. In this case, one has to do BOO ( Bladder Outlet Obstruction) test which should be done with the advice of Urologist.
