Tribute to Queen Elizabeth II

My deepest and heartfelt condolence to the bereaved Royal Family members and the people of the United Kingdom on the sad demise of beloved Queen Elizabeth II at the age of 98. May the Almighty Lord let her departed soul to live in peace in his heavenly abode.

The Queen is the longest serving monarch in the world and is fondly remembered in Nepal for her two important state visits in 1961 & 1986.

The government has decided to mourn the death of Queen Elizabeth II for 3 days from September 10th to 12th, 2022 in honor of the Queen. The national flag will fly at half-mast in government offices and Nepalese embassies and missions abroad.

Long live the century old friendly relationship between Nepal and the United Kingdom
