Karan Priyar, new Nepali Idol

Karan Pariyar from Bardiya has won the championship of the fifth edition of ‘Nepal Idol,’ a popular singing competition. In an exhilarating finale held on Saturday evening, Pariyar secured his victory based on the votes received from a passionate audience, triumphing over fellow finalists Mohit Bhujel, Salomi Gurung, and Sachin Bishwakarma.

Pariyar’s victory was celebrated with a grand cash prize of Rs. 2.5 million. Salomi Gurung from Pokhara secured the second position, taking home a cash prize of Rs. 1 million. Sachin Bishwakarma from Darjeeling came in third, earning Rs. 500,000, while Mohit Bhujel, also from Darjeeling, finished in fourth place and received a scooter as his prize.
