Palesha Govardhan : created history for the nation

Palesha- Many many many congratulation for creating history for Nepal Palesha Goverdhan made history in front of thousands of spectators at the Grand Palais on Friday, 30 August, becoming the first athlete from the mountainous Asian nation to win a medal at the Paralympic Games held in Paris. She faced Serbia’s Marija Micev in the first bronze medal match of the women’s K44 -57kg weight class of Para taekwondo. While it took her only two minutes to find the form that advanced her through to the bronze medal match, she finally found her footing, scoring kick-after-kick in the final minute of the bout against Micev. The scene was one of pure, unbridled jubilation when the hooter sounded to proclaim the end of the match. It was a historic moment for both Goverdhan and Nepal. 👍✌🙏

I hope this Gaijatra comedy staged by renowned artists Manoj Gajurel and Chakra Duwadi will remain to be an eye opener for the senior leaders to avoid looming political upheaval in the nation owing to bad governance, big corruption scams, political hegemony, egoistic politics and political uncertainty. 👍✌🙏😊

Benefits of sleeping on left side

Benefits of sleeping on the left side: 1. Improves digestion The stomach and the pancreas (which make digestive enzymes) are on the left side. When they are lying on their natural side, digestion can work properly. When you lie on your left side, the food is encouraged to move through the stomach naturally and the pancreatic enzymes are released when they´re needed rather than being released all at once. Helps you detox & supports lymphatic system The left side of the body is the dominant lymphatic side (the body’s first detox system). While you’re sleeping on this side, your body will have more time to filter toxins, lymph fluid, and waste. The lymphatic system also carries important elements like proteins, glucose, metabolites and elements that must be filtered by the lymph nodes and that have to be drained to the left side. 3. Good for your heart As we know, the heart ...

Why these birds come to your house?

I found this Video interesting in terms of its relevancy in our traditional belief in the Bastu Sastra . These birds are believed to be the sources of positive signs for a house  which has been built knowingly or unknowingly in line with the elements of Bastu Sastra. 🙏🙏

Prevention of heart attack

How heart attack can be prevented? Making lifestyle changes is the most effective way to prevent having a heart attack (or having another heart attack).  Some things you can do to help prevent a heart attack (as well as stroke) are: ·        Eat a healthy, balanced diet ·        Do not smoke ·        Try to keep your blood pressure at a healthy level. A healthy diet : Eating an unhealthy diet that is high in fat will make hardening of the arteries (atherosclerosis) worse and increase your risk of a heart attack. Continuing to eat high-fat foods will cause more fatty plaques to build up in your arteries. This is because fatty foods contain an unhealthy type of cholesterol. Smoking : Smoking is a major risk factor for heart attack because it causes atherosclerosis and raises blood pressure. High blood pressure : Persistent high blood pressure (hypertension)...
