Nation on the verge of downfall?
The in-house insensible tug of war for political power among the senior leaders in the then Nepal Communist Party (NCP) was a shameful political act that made them split into different splinter groups and continues to directly or indirectly effect the nation and the people in many ways. This is completely unfavourable and deplorable political activities of the so-called major political parties and their leaders at a time when the nation and the people are completely affected by the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic.
What is and where is wrong in our political system? Is it the party and its leaders who play self-centred and unproductive politics? Is it the voters who blindly vote their leaders? Is it the lack of political awareness of the people about the political system? Are the leaders insincere towards their social responsibilities? Are the senior leaders of major political parties foreign agents as blamed by political critics? Is it the existing constitution which is full of loopholes for the leaders to play unconstitutional politics? What is to be done to correct all these flaws and shortcomings in the existing political system in order to make the nation politically stable and prosperous?
Who is or are to be blamed for all these political mess? Time is running out for both the like-minded political actors and the sovereign people to come together to seek for a doable and appropriate political structure to take the nation to a new height. Otherwise, the nation is on the verge of downfall in the hands of selfish, power hungry, incapable and corrupt senior leaders.
